I’m almost forgetting how many lame Bumblebees have been released for Transformer fans, now that I’ve taken a good look at the Transformers Battle Ops Bumblebee. This fully articulated figure is super-easy to pose, without taking away from the overall sturdiness of the toy. And since this version fully transforms from robot-hero to the sweet, yellow Camaro, it’s a Transformers fan’s dream come true.

I’ve purchased some high-end character figures in the past, but few of them included the kind of details that this Battle Ops Bumblebee has. From the cool revving engine sounds and phrases, to the glowing lights and cannon arm, this is like a miniature version of the big-screen character that your Transformers fan will love playing with.

As you can probably tell, I’m pretty excited about the release of the Transformers Battle Ops Bumblebee. Now, it can be a bit tricky to convert back and forth from robot to car, but it does get a bit easier once you’ve done it a few times. However, this may not be the ideal gift for kids younger than 5 or 6, as the transforming may be a bit too tricky for kids that young.

While looking at the online customer reviews for this Bumblebee figure, I was able to take a look at over 25 reviews. The majority of real life customers, pretty much agree with me and say that this is the best Bumblebee toy that’s ever been released. A few parents complained about young kids having a hard time with transforming the toy, which confirms what I stated earlier. It’s probably not the best gift for very young kids. But for older kids – or even adult fans of the Transformers – this is the ultimate Bumblebee and would make a gift that no real Transformers fan will ever forget.

I’m sure that there will be even more Bumblebee toys to come out in the near future, but for my money, the designers of these toys are going to have to put in some serious overtime to come close to the quality and play-ability of the Battle Ops Bumblebee. I recommend this toy to anyone who is trying to find the perfect gift for kids who just can’t get enough of the Transformers.
